Check out this cute Folly Beach family session! Reagan and Theodore were so much fun to chase around on the beach. Photographing two year old twins is not the easiest task in the world but it is a ton of fun….especially when this is the result of all of our efforts! Poor Theodore literally fell down about 8 stairs just minutes before we began. Through tears and a little busted lip kept telling us “I’m alrighhhttt, I’m allriighhttt”…while his helpful sis tried to take off with his ice. Women. Despite the injury he rebounded very quickly and was all smiles, hugs and kisses with his sweet sister. The family comes to Folly Beach every year for a summer getaway from Connecticut. I know a lot of photographers tend to run from these types of sessions but I absolutely love doing them in addition to my wedding bookings. In fact, I look forward to shooting my wedding clients as their families grow too…it’s such a natural transition back and forth between the two for me as a photographer. During these beach family sessions everyone is always vacay laid back and in great spirits (well, when they aren’t doing evasive gymnastic maneuvers down a flight of stairs that is). When I get a down to earth family like this who is willing to just go out on the beach and play, I’m able to capture such great organic emotion and expression. I just love the little seersucker outfits on these two. The pastels really complemented the soft colors of the beach as the sun began to go down. I hope you guys come back again next year, I’d love to come play in the sand again with you
