So I am kind of obsessed with this vibrant Charleston engagement session at The Americano with Anna and Pat. Summer engagement sessions in Charleston can be, well, hot and humid. It was a really fun idea for us to start at an indoor location, have a couple cocktails and use the gorgeous window light and retro vibes at The Americano. We then headed over to Boone Hall Plantation for some more classic portraits to wrap up the session. Anna and Pat really wanted an engagement session that was “them”. They wanted to be captured just being playful and enjoying each other in a laid back environment which was music to my ears obviously. We got to spend a couple of hours just hanging out getting to know each other and creating some really fun and different shots. This is one of the reasons I include an engagement session for all of my couples with their wedding collections. It is such a nice way for us to really establish a great shooting rapport prior to the wedding.
Anna and Pat live in Brooklyn and are having a destination wedding here at The Cedar Room this coming Spring and I couldn’t be happier to be part of their big day. Enjoy this cheerful session!
