These photos of Kasey and Colie’s Downtown Charleston Engagement session make me so excited for April 18th. After having to reschedule our first scheduled shoot for rainy Charleston weather (shocker), we finally ended up with a beautiful sunny Saturday morning! These two were so much fun to work with, and so extremely easy to photograph. It was very humid out and the way the light played off the morning mist definitely made the photos in the park glow. Love that. Their wedding is being held at Summerall Chapel with the reception at the Citadel Beach House. I can’t wait to get some amazing shots of these two by the water at Isle of Palms! Colie is originally from Charleston and Kasey ironically enough is from my home town of Rocky Mount, North Carolina. When she first contacted me I was surprised to find out her family’s home was just a couple of blocks from mine. Small world! The two met while on their family vacations aboard a cruise ship that left out of the Charleston Harbor. I thought that was a really interesting “how we met” story…love finds us in the most unexpected places! Carnival Cupid? Who knew! Enjoy the photos!
